App Launch / Tech Software Brand

Hodie by Maxme is an educational app available for download via iOS and Android. Its purpose is to help users develop their human skills, which are imperative in supporting technical skills and go hand-in-hand to land the best jobs.

Summary

  • A brand new app, Hodie has seen a huge increase in app users within the first year of working together and continues to see new installs and app opens / registrations month-on-month. 

The Challenge

Hodie was a brand new app/brand and ‘human skills’ in regards to the workplace was a relatively new concept so there was a big educational piece to this campaign. There was also very little in the way of test campaign data before we came on board and zero real users outside of internal staff using the app itself. 

The Plan

Given Hodie was starting from scratch, we decided to start by going through our signature Road to Results Marketing Plan process, which helped set the direction for our campaigns and from there we undertook thorough testing for the first three months to establish what would drive the best results. 

The Solution

Through the Road to Results Marketing Plan and testing process, we very quickly identified what type of content and creative would perform across various ad platforms. We were also successful in driving affordable new app sign ups throughout the testing process, despite there being no guarantees or early data to work with.

Hodie has seen a huge increase in app users within the first year of working together and continues to see new installs and app opens / registrations month-on-month.
